Dear Amma's Pacific Northwest Children,
It is my great pleasure to invite you to the 66th Birthday Celebrations of Her Holiness Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi - our Beloved Amma, in the Pacific Northwest. The celebrations will take place at the Hilton Bellevue, on Sunday, September 22nd.
For 66 years now, Amma has been blessing the world with her compassion and selflessness. Holding the sick, the poor and the lonely directly to her heart... drying their tears with her own hands... doing everything she can to uplift them. Amma's life is an expression of a Love that perceives oneness and unity. It is a Love that cuts across all boundaries - those of nation, of politics, of religion, of language, of caste. It is a Love that embraces people of all ages, all backgrounds, all walks of life. It is a Love that inspires everyone it touches to strive to expand his or her heart and mind. It is a Love that makes people ask themselves, "What can I do more to help others?"
On this very auspicious occasion, let us all come together in gratitude to our beloved Guru Amma and celebrate this advent of Love in our lives.

| Amma's 66th Birthday Celebration Details |

Amma's kids in Seattle got together this Summer to spend a day at the Maltby Property.
The effort was led by Yasas and Visala. The kids learnt the difference bet ween nuts, bolts, hooks and other fasteners.
They also learnt about the application and safe ways to hammer a nail or pull one out.
Then, they picked apples from the trees, chopped them and learnt how to use a traditional apple press to make fresh juice.
We were blessed again with a beautiful day to have a refreshing and fun time together.
