Amma's Pacific Northwest Region
Birthday Event Winter Retrest
PNW Satsangs Winter Retreat 2018!
For 2018, Amma’s Portland Satsang has reserved Wi-Ne-Ma Christian Camp, on the Oregon coast in south Tillamook County, north of Neskowin, near the estuary of the Nestucca River. Not only is it beautiful, but the weather in February often surprises us with sunshine when it might still be raining in Portland.
There are paved roads throughout the camp that take you close to your cabin and community buildings. (Rain or shine, there will be no mud). And, there are numerous meeting halls and spaces for a variety of activities that may be scheduled concurrently. Multiple housing options will include teen dorms, snorers’ and couples’ cabins. All spaces will be fully heated, and there are even a mini-golf course, indoor basketball court and game room; a giant slide and children’s playground; and, for daring-do, kayaking around Winema Lake. For hiking, there are 5 miles of beach within a few steps of camp!
We are so excited about having our Winter Retreat at the Coast that we have decided to make it a 3-night event. Many people use a vacation day on the Friday before a 3-day weekend, so this retreat will begin on Friday 16 February. Registration will begin Friday afternoon and our first dinner will be at 6 pm. Registration will continue on Saturday and Sunday and Individual Day options will be available. Checkout will be after breakfast and cleanup on Monday morning, 19 February. At this point, we estimate the cost will be approximately $150 per person for all three nights. We know that many Amma devotees are teachers and healers, and we hope that you will take the opportunity of so many classrooms and group activity spaces to share your gifts at this Winter Retreat. So, please think about what you’d like to share, and convey your proposals to Sumeetra at 503-754-9572.

Mark your calendars today! Invite your friends! There’s plenty of room. Jai Ma!
