Vancouver Satsang Holiday Seva
Each year, 'Presents of Peace' is organized through the YWCA to provide families in need with funds for food at Christmas time, as well as gifts from the wish-lists of each family member. Ammas Vancouver Satsang, sponsored by Amma Canada, is able to shop for, wrap up, and deliver presents to a number of families each year through this program.
For all of us, it is a great way to start the holiday season, sharing Amma's compassion and joy even in such a small way.
Holiday Bazaar News
Thank you everyone for your support of the Holiday Bazaar by donating items and creating items including all the wonderful baked items, jewelry and Amma ornaments. Thank you healers for offering your services! We had wonderful music provided by singer/musicians Satyasilan Nelson and Steve Grant. We also had the generous help of various elves who helped set-up and take down the Bazaar on Saturday and Sunday as well as elves who helped sell items throughout the two afternoons. We also thank all of you who stopped by to say hello and/or to purchase something. Lastly thanks to Susanta and Jagadish for generously donating the use of the Seattle Holistic Center. This event was a fundraiser for the Maltby property.
