Maltby Property (the future MA Center PNW) Update
This is the first of what will be regular updates about the Maltby Property (the future MA Center PNW).
If you havenít heard, the 13 acre property was purchased in July of 2015 and is located just north of Woodinville, about 45 minutes from Seattle.
In early June this year, Amma arrived from India and spent her first day and evening in the three bedroom house on the property, along with the Swamis and her attendants.
The next morning prior to going to the first public program in Everett, Amma performed a Puja at the altar in the house, further imbuing the property with Her Divine energy.
We are now moving forward with the permitting process before we hold any programs there.
The process for preparing and applying for what is known as a Conditional Use Permit is extensive and requires a number of studies to be done by various consultants.
Maltby Seva Day
Fourth Saturday of Every Month
The residents of the Maltby property will host a Seva Day, the fourth Saturday of every month, from 10:00am - 4:30pm. Every Seva Day is a giant leap for the property. Sevas of all types, inside and outside, are needed. Everyone is welcome.
Lunch will be served and all are invited to come and enjoy the seva, fellowship, and beautiful atmosphere of the property. For those who have come from afar and want to spend the night, accomodations will be available either at the property or other devotees homes (please contact Yasas at firstname.lastname@example.org).
The Maltby property is at 22404 134th Ave SE, Snohomish, WA 98296. (For those coming for their first visit: to find the property go to Echo Lake Community Church. Just past it there is an unmarked gravel drive (this is 134th Ave SE) that borders the east side of the Echo Lake Community Church parking lot. Turn here to come into the property.)
