The Holiday Bazaar Fundraiser was held on November 27th and 28th in Ballard. Gaurang's boss at Quality Code Publishing offered us the space for our weekend use at no charge. The bazaar was attended by many local shoppers as well as numerous Devotees dropping in to show their support. Through Amma's grace we raised $1400.
For sale were Chetana's yummy delicious baked goods, Seahawks gear and ceramic artwork from one of Satyavati's neighbors, amazing handmade ornaments from Nika. There was Incredible artwork from a local very talented Ethiopian artist, Ashenaki Lulu, Ramona, a very early devotee of Mother's, was selling jewelry for a friend, Visala's Mom offering knitted headbands, slippers and handmade cards. Om oils was debuting several of their new essential oil scents...just to name a few. Satyashilan was there entertaining the crowd on his guitar. Satyavati had everyone in excellent cheer with the hot cider and mulling spices as well as bringing lunch for everyone! Rena surprised us with a beautiful Thanksgiving Turkey cake with Raspberry filling, super delisch!
Mike, Vashishta, Sudha and Bob Ladd were stationed out on the street waving signs and beckoning the shoppers to come inside.
As if this wasn't enough.... A big thanks to Karuna Nakamura for offering massage, which got rave reviews! And also to Sri Kripa for offering intuitive readings by phone.
Krishnan took care of our credit card needs and Aparna helped with everything listed above. I know for sure I have not listed many of your names, so I appologize in advance. You are all so awesome and amazing.
Theresa, Radhika and Jovanna came in just at the right time to do all the clean-up.
I couldn't ask to be part of a cooler more amazing group of friends. You light up my life.
